When running a Trade Summary Report, what type of information would typically populate under the ‘Comments’ and the ‘Management Firm’ section?
The ‘Comments’ section on this report will be comments from the Custodian that are included in the nightly files. There are no legend of comments at this time and these comments can be confusing, so please ask your Freedom team if you are uncertain.
When running a Global Cash Balance report, what is the difference between “Cash Balance” and “Unaffiliated Cash?”
Cash can be held in any of the 3 portfolios types: Managed Model, Discretionary (non-managed), and Unaffiliated Cash. Cash Balance is total cash in the account, no matter what portfolio it is in. Unaffiliated Cash is cash not affiliated with a managed or non-managed investment portfolio. It is not counted in model cash weighting. It is included in total account value, but not for billing purposes.
